The 39 Steps adapted by Patrick Barlow for stage takes all of the intrigue and drama of Hitchcock's film of the same name and injects it with a healthy dose of hijinks. Actors clown across many roles and locations, making audiences gasp and laugh. A German spy, a wrongful murder charge, a chase through a train, a trek across the moors, and a plot uncovered weave together a wild playground of a play.
New theatre company Boy With Box's production of this iconic play was crowdfunded in order to offer accessible theatre to the community with pay what you can tickets.
