Frank Wildhorn and Dan Black's blues inspired score features energetic group numbers, playful interludes, and heart wrenching ballads. The musical suited to showcase musical talent while exploring connection through hard times. This production amplified the well loved show by featuring impressive choreography and putting emphasis on the historical background of the story.
